Warehouse Management Expertise - EWM Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Technical Lead to lead the technical design and implementation of warehouse management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical design and implementation of SAP EWM developments across multiple projects
  • Develop custom enhancements using ABAP, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, and EWM-specific objects
  • Guide teams on RF development, SmartForms, and performance-optimized coding
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between EWM and modules like MM, SD, TM, and external systems via IDoc, RFC, Proxy, etc.
  • Provide expertise in system performance tuning, debugging, and issue resolution
  • Support full-cycle implementation: blueprinting, development, testing, go-live, and hypercare

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with 4+ years focused on EWM
  • Strong knowledge of SAP EWM architecture, technical objects, and warehouse processes
  • Hands-on experience in RFUI development, SmartForms, WebDynpro/FPM, and OO ABAP
  • In-depth understanding of Warehouse Orders/Tasks, queues, and resource/process management
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM (embedded or decentralized)
  • Strong integration experience (IDoc/ALE, BAPIs, OData services, Web Services)
  • Experience in leading development teams, code reviews, and project deliveries
