Finance Operations Specialist

Job Description:

As a key member of our finance team, the Finance Operations Specialist will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting project financing through detailed reports and financial models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, management information system (MIS) reports, and management dashboards to ensure timely and accurate financial data.

• Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and conduct ratio analysis to support decision-making and fundraising activities.

• Project Reports: Prepare detailed project reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, and cash flow projections to inform project investment decisions.

• Taxation & Compliance: Manage direct tax, goods and services tax (GST), and tax deducted at source (TDS) compliance, including return filings, reconciliations, and assessments.

• Audit Support: Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits to ensure seamless audit processes.

• Corporate Finance Support: Assist in due diligence, valuations, and financial analysis for debt syndication and fundraising transactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Management Accountant (CMA)- Inter, Master's in Commerce (Mcom), Bachelor's in Commerce (Bcom)

• 3-5 years of experience in finance, taxation, or project advisory roles

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation laws, and GST compliance

• Hands-on experience with financial modeling, project reports, and ratio analysis

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Tally/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and financial reporting tools

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments simultaneously
