Job Title: Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to lead all financial functions within our organization.

  • About the Role:
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies, management reports, and financial statements for various types of clients.
  • Oversee preparation of business activity statements (BAS) and work on a variety of tax matters, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and Division 7A.
  • Provide expert financial advisory services, including management accounting, creating board report packs, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and succession planning.
  • Analyze data, identify issues and opportunities, and suggest strategies for improvement.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members.
  • Evaluate performance at a high level.

Requirements:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience with using Xero and Xero practice tools is beneficial.
  • Able to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
