Job Description:

The metal industry plays a crucial role in the economy and physical world. We are transforming this industry by creating a rich digital marketplace for metal manufacturers to procure high-quality raw materials.

The Financial Controller is critical to ensuring financial integrity, audit readiness, and investor confidence. This individual will own end-to-end controllership including accounting, compliance, audit, cash flow, and debt covenant management.

  • Maintain accurate and timely books of accounts.
  • Drive disciplined month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures.
  • Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with IGAAP; IND AS knowledge preferred.
  • Ensure reconciliations across bank, vendor, customer, GST input, and inventory accounts.
  • Deliver timely MIS packs (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with actionable insights.
  • Establish SOPs and Internal Financial Controls (IFC).
  • Keep accounts continuously audit-ready and resolve audit queries to avoid adverse remarks.
  • Oversee statutory filings (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Companies Act compliances).
  • Ensure lender and investor covenant compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize cash flow, fund flow, and working capital cycles.
  • Implement and optimize ERP/accounting platforms.
  • Drive automation to reduce manual dependency.
  • Mentor, lead, and upskill the finance & accounts team.
  • Build a culture of accountability, accuracy, and compliance discipline.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. They should also have expertise in accounting software and be familiar with regulatory requirements.
