Retail Operations and POS Implementation Specialist

Purpose:

Seek a seasoned professional to lead the implementation of retail operations and POS systems for a global client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in configuring and customizing D365 Commerce POS modules, as well as collaborating with technical teams for seamless integration with other D365 modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze business requirements related to retail operations and POS systems through workshops.
  • Configure and customize D365 Commerce POS modules to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for seamless integration with other D365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
  • Provide end-to-end support during implementation phases including UAT, training, and go-live.
  • Develop functional documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve POS-related issues post-deployment.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft's roadmap for D365 Commerce and recommend enhancements.
  • Support data migration and testing activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail.
  • Hands-on experience with D365 POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS, Store Commerce).
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes, including sales, inventory, promotions, and customer management.
  • Experience with lifecycle services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and D365 configuration tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 Commerce or related modules (preferred).
