Senior Web Development Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Senior Web Development Manager to spearhead our web development projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in PHP frameworks, WordPress development, and strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of web developers and project managers to deliver high-quality web applications.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution – from requirement gathering to delivery – ensuring quality, timeliness, and successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and project management to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience.
