Commercial Lead - India

This role is responsible for leading the commercial efforts across India to maximize market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development Strategy: Contribute to the growth objectives, determine strategies for selected Accounts, and build wallet share of business for products in assigned regions in India.
  • Sales and Account Management: Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses, grow share of business, and expand relationships within customers identifying influencers, gatekeepers, and decision-makers within the region of India.
  • Deploy a consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions, interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses, and co-coordinate with planning/production and Logistics/Shipping team to ensure despatch as per customer time-lines.

Manage business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage of existing range of products in untapped regions, identification of markets and customers for new products and products in pipeline, and assist regional heads for successful launch and ensuring sales of new products once commercialized.

Provide market research, market intelligence, and key information on international market trends and competition to help the division with future export strategies.
