Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a pivotal role in the DevSecOps ecosystem, accountable for executing, supporting, and continuously enhancing quality assurance processes to ensure seamless software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for application interfaces and operations to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Maintain Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor code quality metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Track defects from QA findings and implement corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare and maintain audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews to ensure transparency and accountability.
Vulnerability Management & Security
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio to identify potential security threats.
  • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers to ensure timely resolution.
Collaboration & Support
  • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection to provide visibility into project status.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth operation and integration of QA processes within DevSecOps to maximize efficiency.
  • Support release and deployment coordination for enhancements and integrations to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide training and support to team members on QA tools and processes to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards to maintain integrity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking to demonstrate expertise.
  • Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud) to identify potential issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus to enhance professional development.
Work Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in QA or related positions, preferably within DevSecOps environments to gain relevant skills and knowledge.
Education/Training
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required (proven experience can substitute for degree requirement).
Software & Technology
  • Desirable experience with Sonar Cloud, Visual Studio, and CI/CD pipelines to leverage industry-leading tools.
  • Desirable knowledge of vulnerability scanning and compliance requirements to stay ahead of emerging trends.
