About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DB Migration Specialist to lead the migration of databases across data centers and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and implement database migrations across various environments, including Oracle Exadata, Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC), AWS, and Azure.
  • Perform end-to-end database backup and recovery using Rubrik and RMAN, and implement delta data synchronization strategies for near-zero downtime migration.
  • Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for database performance monitoring, health checks, proactive alerting, migration tracking, and validation.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Oracle Exadata and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
