Job Description

As a senior electrical engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of electrical systems in pharma facilities.

You will work closely with colleagues to prepare engineering technical project tasks, coordinate technical work, and set out technical directions.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, preparing design specifications, and supporting the selection and procurement of electrical equipment components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting a group of colleagues in preparing engineering technical project tasks
  • Coordinate technical work and set out technical directions
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and providing support to leads on complex project challenges
  • Preparing design specifications and supporting the selection and procurement of electrical equipment components

Additionally, you will execute projects in the construction phase by supervising contractors and suppliers, planning and controlling FAT SAT activities, and providing support to leads on electrical design within the building process electrical segment.

Electrical equipment sizing and power calculations, electrical distribution for upstream and downstream systems, cable sizing and short circuit calculations, risk assessment studies for electrical safety, and knowledge on international standards such as IEC and ATEX are also essential responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • At least eight years of experience working as a Senior Engineer with electrical design, installations, and other related engineering challenges
  • Providing rationale for technical solutions and having GMP experience from the process, pharmaceutical, or life science industry
  • Having a degree in electrical engineering or a similar technical field
