The role of Salesforce DevOps Engineer is crucial for enabling efficient package-based deployments, scalable branching strategies, and large-scale Salesforce programs such as Service Cloud and multi-org contact center transformations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end DevOps pipelines using Copado, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub to improve deployment speed and efficiency.
  • Develop sandbox management strategies, release governance, and version control best practices to ensure successful software releases.
  • Lead the transition from feature-based deployments to modular, package-based deployments using Copado to enhance scalability and maintainability.
  • Establish and enforce branching strategies for multi-org Salesforce programs aligned with enterprise delivery streams to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and release managers to enable scalable and repeatable deployments.
  • Provide training, onboarding, and documentation for DevOps standards and Copado workflows to ensure team proficiency.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6–8 years of experience in Salesforce Development & DevOps with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • 3+ years of hands-on enterprise experience with Copado and expertise in its configuration and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of Git branching models and CI/CD concepts to ensure seamless integration with development processes.
  • Expertise in Salesforce multi-org architecture and package-based development to drive scalability and efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata, Apex, and deployment strategies to ensure successful software releases.
