Job Role: Master Data Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Master Data Manager to lead our offshore Master Data team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Master Data team to ensure high-performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and empower the team to meet expected Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.
  • Work with the NoCC team to automate processes, enhancing maximum efficiency and reducing errors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of financial and non-financial operations, maintaining data integrity.
  • Manage the setup, modification, and maintenance of master data in systems to ensure accuracy and on-time completion.
  • Oversee training, routine, people development, and compliance activities to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Foster relationships between the GCC, business unit, and stakeholders to drive collaboration and mutual understanding.

Key Activities Execution

  • SLA Management: Ensure the Master Data team operates within agreed timescales and quality levels.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on master data setup to prevent infractions from impacting business operations or customer relationships.
  • Process Efficiency: Drive end-to-end process optimization for managing master data, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Project Support: Participate actively in project initiatives, providing support and expertise as needed.

General Management Activities

  • Audit and Risk Management: Manage MICS/Risk Management/Audit compliance targets, including sustainability model creation and action plans for open issues.
  • Backup Planning: Ensure 100% backup coverage for the team.
  • Training Tracking: Maintain the Training Tracking Tool and develop action plans to minimize knowledge gaps.
  • KPIs and SLAs: Achieve and update monthly SLA/KPI targets, monitoring team performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Process Documentation: Update and maintain process training documentation according to EP standards.
  • Workflow Optimization: Review and recommend enhancements to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Routine Management: Perform routine management tasks, such as cascade, stand-up, and one-to-one meetings, in accordance with the Excellence Program.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team and with external parties, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Best Practices: Share best practices across the business to promote knowledge sharing and improvement.
  • Procedure Development: Assist in developing procedures for non-recurring transactions and events.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as requested by the Functional Lead.

People Management Activities

  • Safety Procedures: Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and requirements.
  • Team Equipment: Ensure the team has the necessary equipment to perform their duties effectively.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative people management tasks.
  • Work Environment: Create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • People Cycle: Execute the People Cycle in accordance with the Excellence Program, including Targets setting and cascading, Competency appraisal, Operational Performance Review, Personal Development Plans, and Recovery Plans.
  • Strategies and Project Delivery: Strategize and deliver on project-related activities from the Functional Lead, ensuring timely delivery with expected quality.
