We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our cutting-edge scientific instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain Waters' product suite, including LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, and Informatics systems
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers to ensure their success
  • Manage customer expectations by communicating work performed and providing follow-up plans as needed
  • Ensure customer compliance with regulations and maintain sound knowledge of technology and customer application demands
  • Deliver system-level training at customer sites and handle service inventory according to Waters policies
  • Issue field service reports daily to document work performed and work with the Sales team to identify future business development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of scientific instrumentation
  • Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and a personal sense of integrity
  • Effective time management skills, system-level approach to problem-solving, and analytical approach with a strong drive to resolve open issues
