Database Administrator for Oracle E-Business Suite

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation & Configuration
    • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) and Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c)
    • Set up and manage multi-node RAC environments and ASM storage
  • Maintenance & Support
    • Perform patching (ADOP, CPU/PSU), cloning, backup, and recovery using RMAN
    • Monitor and troubleshoot application and database issues including Concurrent Managers, Workflow, and Forms/Reports
  • Performance & Optimization
    • Conduct performance tuning of databases and applications
    • Implement purging, archiving, and cloning strategies
  • High Availability & Disaster Recovery
    • Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard for standby setups and failover operations
    • Ensure 24x7 uptime and participate in on-call support and weekend maintenance
  • Automation & Scripting
    • Develop and maintain Shell, Perl, SQL, and PL/SQL scripts for monitoring and reporting
    • Automate routine DBA tasks and alerts
  • Security & Compliance
    • Enforce database security policies and access controls
    • Ensure compliance with data governance and audit standards
  • Documentation & Collaboration
    • Maintain DBA runbooks, cloning procedures, and upgrade documentation
    • Collaborate with developers, system admins, and business analysts
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Oracle EBS R12 architecture, AD utilities (adpatch, adadmin, etc.)
    • Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM
    • Linux/Unix environments and scripting
    • SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
  • Certifications:
    • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent preferred
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
    • Ability to mentor junior DBAs and work in agile environments

Prior experience with cloud platforms is a plus. Knowledge of OBIEE, APEX, and Oracle Fusion Middleware is also desirable.
