Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

About this Key Role:

This role plays a critical part in our database administration and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
  • Maintenance of backup and recovery policies and procedures
  • Design and implementation of database security, including user management and privilege assignment
  • Performing general technical troubleshooting and providing consultation to development teams
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in database administration
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and Oracle Database 12c, 19c, rman, and shell scripting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
  • Good knowledge of operating systems like Linux
  • Very good understanding of Oracle core database architecture and concepts
  • Very good understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 architecture and concepts
  • Knowledge on Concurrent managers
  • Monitoring OEM alerts and acting on them
