Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Quality Assurance Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end manual testing across web, API, and backend services.

This role requires someone with strong analytical skills, who can create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports.

You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business analysts to ensure requirements are testable and delivered with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough manual testing across web, API, and backend services.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Use Postman and other testing tools for API testing.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data.
  • Support testing across Azure, Kubernetes, and GCP cloud environments.
  • Work with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  • Actively participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Take ownership and accountability for deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving technologies and project needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Detailed understanding of manual testing principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Java and SQL for code review and data validation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: Azure, Kubernetes, GCP.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub.
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodology and collaborative team environments.
