Job Title: Senior API Automation Tester

 

We are seeking an experienced senior tester to lead and mentor a team of quality engineers in developing, designing, and building test automation frameworks from scratch.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality automated testing scripts for APIs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior testers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Define and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the quality engineering team.
  • Strong expertise in building Scenarios with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks – Cucumber, Specflow, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and cross-browser testing/automation using SauceLabs/ BrowserStack or similar.
  • Ability to work in a flexible/fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Java, Selenium.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java, Selenium is a must.
  • Minimum 2+ years of strong experience in API Automation testing using Rest Assured / any automation tool.
  • Strong coding skills – Java/JavaScript, Core Java, Typescript, or similar.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Test automation frameworks – Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Strong in Java API testing/Automation is a must – PostMan/RestAssured/Karate or similar.
