Job Title: Cafe Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cafe Manager to join our team at Shalom Backpackers Pvt Ltd. As a Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafe, ensuring the success of our business, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Supervise Cafe Staff: You will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of cafe staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies and Procedures: You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the cafe, including inventory management, ordering of supplies, and financial management.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Oversee Inventory Management and Ordering of Supplies: You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory of supplies, including ordering and receiving stock, and ensuring that the cafe is well-stocked at all times.
  • Manage Financial Performance: You will be responsible for managing the financial performance of the cafe, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations: You will be responsible for ensuring that the cafe complies with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food safety certification.
  • Recruit, Train, and Schedule Staff: You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and scheduling staff, including planning and executing marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
  • Monitor and Report on Cafe Performance: You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of the cafe, including sales, customer satisfaction, and staff performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience in a Managerial Role: You will need to have proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Leadership and Team-Building Skills: You will need to have strong leadership and team-building skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control: You will need to have a strong understanding of inventory management and cost control, including the ability to manage and oversee the inventory of supplies and ensure that the cafe is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: You will need to have knowledge of health and safety regulations, including food safety certification.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Basic Financial Analysis and Reporting: You will need to have proficiency in basic financial analysis and reporting, including the ability to manage and oversee the financial performance of the cafe.
  • Customer Service-Oriented Mindset: You will need to have a customer service-oriented mindset, including a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their experience.
