Corporate Legal Advisor Opportunity in Chennai

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Corporate Legal Advisor. This role will involve providing strategic legal guidance to support the growth and development of our business in India.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of contract negotiation experience, preferably with technology / IT MNCs or a reputable law firm.
  • Past experience in working in a cross-cultural environment will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (preferably a law degree) from a reputable and recognized university.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English language.
  • Clear understanding of basic legal concepts and strong desire to learn/ adapt new skills.
  • Collaborative approach, self-starter attitude and high integrity with demonstrated track record of building relationships across teams.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review and negotiate Professional Services Subcontractor Agreement, Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreement, Outsourcing Agreement and other business/vendor agreements for APAC, USA, EMEA region.
  • Engage in contract negotiations with partner, customer or vendors.
  • Collaborate and provide guidance to various teams on queries relating to business/vendor agreements (including identify and mitigate legal risks).
  • Coordinate responses from Consulting, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement and other relevant departments to prepare for final agreement.
