Job Title: SRE & DevOps Engineer (Java)

We are looking for an experienced SRE & DevOps Engineer (Java) to join our AI Platform Team.

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore, India

A leading multinational in global commerce & technology is seeking a highly skilled SRE & DevOps Engineer (Java) to support large-scale AI/ML infrastructure and enable researchers and data scientists to innovate at a global scale.

What you will do:

  • Support and Scale AI Platform Services: Ensure the availability of mission-critical systems and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Secure High Availability: Implement security measures to prevent breaches and maintain high availability.
  • Automate Fixes and Improve Reliability: Troubleshoot and automate fixes for performance and functional issues.
  • Partner with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with engineering teams to design CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps best practices.
  • Deliver Automation and Operational Improvements: Develop automation and operational improvements for reliability and scalability.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong development experience in Java & Spring framework.
  • Hands-on with microservices (orchestration, service discovery, APIs).
  • Database expertise across SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) & NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
  • Experience with low-latency, high-throughput web services.
  • Familiar with metrics systems (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Strong JVM debugging skills (GC tuning, memory leak detection, thread/heap analysis).
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux fundamentals.
  • Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins), automation, monitoring, and testing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
