Job Description

As a Network Administrator, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the operational monitoring, reporting, and functioning of wireless, routing, and switching infrastructure across our offices and datacenter.

Additionally, you will maintain enterprise network infrastructure and its operational performance through appropriate technical network troubleshooting as needed. You will also liaise and collaborate with vendors, TAC, and support teams for multi-platform and multi-vendor issues to identify problems, scope responsibilities, RCA/resolution, and meet incident/problem management requirements.

Other key responsibilities include supervising network infrastructure changes/patch deployment, version upgrades, and fixes to meet vulnerability and change management requirements. You will also collaborate with Deloitte Global/Peer/Business teams and provide support/assistance for network incidents/requests.

Maintaining network inventory, network documentation, and MIS reports to meet network operations processes/procedures is another critical aspect of this role.

Requirements
  • Experience in network infrastructure operations is essential.
  • Managing/supervising a network support team is also crucial.
  • In-depth conceptual knowledge of network routing, switching, wireless, and security is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Routing/Switching/Wireless hardware platforms, specifically ISR/ASR Routers, Nexus/Catalyst Switches, and 98xx Series wireless controllers, is preferred.
  • Conceptual knowledge for Enterprise Firewall (site/VPN tunneling) and QoS Traffic Shaping in network environment is also required.
  • In-depth knowledge of network monitoring/reporting/troubleshooting tools, specifically Solarwinds Platform Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Advanced Reporting, is desired.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment and as a team leader is essential.
  • Well-versed with network MIS and technical reports.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are also required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent. Additional Cisco certifications are preferred.
Experience
  • 8+ Years of overall experience in enterprise/corporate network, with minimum 2 years in Large/Complex network environment.
