Job Title: Production Operations Specialist

About this role:

This is a critical position in ensuring operational excellence, efficient production planning, and adherence to quality standards within our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with experience in coordinating internal teams for seamless production and operational excellence.

  • Develop and execute production plans, scheduling, and monitoring to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Prepare and review production documents for new products according to QA guidelines.
  • Oversee approved manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead quality assessments and address customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train production personnel, fostering a disciplined and safe working environment.
  • Manage the complete production cycle, including resource allocation, productivity, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, quality control, and procurement teams for efficient workflow.
  • Communicate with external vendors and manage outsourced production to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory of raw materials and manage stock procurement.

Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, sound knowledge of production processes, time and action calendars (TNA), and project management. Demonstrated leadership, team management, and people-handling skills are also required. Additionally, proficiency in sourcing fabrics, trims, and managing vendor relationships is necessary. Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities, as well as excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, are essential. The ideal candidate should be medically 100% fit.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of core production experience in leather accessories.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; graduates from premier institutions preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of production processes, time and action calendars (TNA), and project management.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and people-handling skills.
  • Proficiency in sourcing fabrics, trims, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of punctuality, dedication, and a proactive approach to challenges.
