Key Role in Automation

This role plays a vital part in our organization's automation processes and shop floor operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Automation Conceptualization: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement automation solutions that enhance data accuracy and collection at source.
  • Shop Floor Automation Leadership: Oversee the automation of machine and process studies, ensuring optimized solutions are discussed and supported.
  • Data Insight Generation: Analyze data inputs available from machines and processes, correlating them with project objectives.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assess and standardize digital interfaces, hardware, software, and embedded modules for shop data integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Instrumentation: Understanding of instrumentation principles and its application in power machine and process visualization.
  • Programming: Proficiency in programming languages, including ladder logic, screen design, and SCADA connectivity.
  • Communication Protocols: Knowledge of Modbus, TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, and direct-to-DB ISA 95 architecture.
  • Computer Applications: Familiarity with computer applications, IIS, and data engineering.
  • Database Management: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database, Oracle 12c or above, and PostgreSQL.
  • Reporting Tools: Familiarity with SSRS, Power BI, QlikSense Cloud, Azure, Amazon AWS, Google GCP.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60 or equivalent CGPA.
  • 8-9 years of experience in the industry, preferably in Manufacturing OEM.
