Risk Analytics Consultant

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Risk Analytics Manager to join the Decision Strategy and Governance team in the Corporate Risk group's Risk Appetite and Decision Strategy Oversight organization.
This team is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of front-line business strategies for both credit organizations and deposit processes that result in risk exposure.
The successful candidate will support these efforts by performing complex analytical activities related to strategy development, implementation, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliver insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting.
- Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models.
- Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance.
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals.
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff.
- Partner with cross-enterprise risk analysts in the development of common modeling strategies.
- 2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, statistics, operations research, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and advanced MS Office Suite product skills to include MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, etc.
- Excellent proficiency in programming and data manipulation using SAS, SQL, Python, and Tableau.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to gather, analyze, package, and present analytical findings in an insightful and logical manner.
- Previous experience with credit risk strategy development and monitoring in the financial services industry.
- Attention to detail, strong partnership, and problem-solving skills.
