Career Opportunity: Director of Counselling

About this role:

  • The ideal candidate will lead a team of counselling experts in devising strategic processes and driving growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Owning a regional profit-loss account for your team of counsellors.
  2. Leading a team of 80-100 counsellors and team managers by demonstrating leadership skills through building teams, driving key process metrics, creating a superlative work culture, bringing strong customer focus, and leading the company to exponential growth.
  3. Collaborating with a team of equally talented and passionate colleagues to develop short and long-term strategies to create a sustainable customer base and business model.
  4. Auditing, overseeing, and implementing all operations initiatives for the organization and efficiently managing teammates.
  5. Leveraging a high degree of independence and decision-making autonomy to drive the team's growth by owning the end-to-end process from TOFU to BOFU.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in the study abroad industry.
  • Have over 10-12 years of experience managing profit-loss with a team of 50+ professionals.
  • Have experience scaling teams and designing processes across 2-3 companies, with a strong grasp of technology.
  • Be exceptional at operational excellence – defining, monitoring, improving processes and metrics.
  • Be competent at managing multiple stakeholders across the business, channel partners, counsellors, operations, etc.
  • Build a strong client and non-client support through 100% compliance of application processes.
