Telecommunications Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced telecommunications professional to design and implement leading-edge technology solutions for various clients across different sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and publish telecommunications designs, undertaking detailed designs relating to ICT & Telecommunications Systems.
  • Design Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), Communications Rooms, and Outside Plant Infrastructure (OSP).
  • Create Active ICT Networks, Wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modelling, RF Systems, and Technology platforms.
  • Prepare reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings for tendering works.
  • Liaise with engineers, vendors, and contractors during project duration.
  • Mentor junior and graduate engineers within a multi-discipline design team.

Requirements:

  • Master of Engineering in electronics, computer systems, or telecommunications course of study.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Preferably past experience in mentoring.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience in ICT and Telecommunications design, network principles, and critical environments.
  • Detailed knowledge of telecommunications network design, structured cabling systems, active network design, server and SAN solutions, firewalls, radio systems, and MPLS networks.
