Join us as a Furniture Designer in our export-focused team.

We're seeking an innovative and research-driven professional who can create original design concepts for our solid wood furniture products. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for analyzing global market trends, customer preferences, and our manufacturing strengths to develop new ideas that align with our export capabilities.

In this role, you'll study our customers' purchase history, social media behavior, and international trends to identify opportunities for growth. You'll then use your creativity and technical skills to design prototypes that meet our quality and ergonomics standards. Your work will play a crucial role in shaping our globally competitive product lines in dining, seating, and case goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer preferences through past sales data, social media, and international market trends
  • Create original design concepts in solid wood (Mango, Oak, Acacia, Teak) aligned with our export strengths
  • Draft production-ready drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar CAD tools
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to translate concepts into viable collections
  • Work with prototyping teams to refine joinery, finishes, ergonomics, and structural integrity
  • Incorporate KD (knock-down) joinery, export packaging standards, and compliance requirements
  • Develop design boards, line sheets, and client presentations for export buyers
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in furniture design, preferably in solid wood
  • Strong skills in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.)
  • Knowledge of global furniture trends, ergonomics, finishing techniques, and joinery
  • Ability to translate abstract research into commercially viable designs
  • Good communication and presentation skills
