About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Territory Manager to drive business growth across our region. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving brand-wise targeted volumes and market share targets, implementing strategies for product positioning and visibility, and executing marketing and merchandising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve brand-wise targeted volume and market share targets at monthly level
  • Implement strategies on product positioning and visibility, market penetration, new market development, retail segmentation, sales mix, and pack sizes to augment business and exceed profit margins
  • Execute the marketing and merchandising initiatives and brand activations within regional objectives
  • Plan and execute sales promotion activities to generate demand, push, and build sustain improve brand image
  • Liaison with Marketing and Finance teams to set sales goals and budgets to meet sales targets

Requirements:

  • Strong commercial discipline and ability to manage various statutory formalities as per regulation
  • Foster a high level of motivation in the sales team and drive market execution
  • Nurture, grow, and manage functional talent by setting individual and team performance expectations and goals
  • Gain market intelligence and visibility through competitive mapping and market trends across the territory

Stakeholders:

  • Finance team for claim settlements
  • Marketing Activation team for planning and execution of promotions
  • Branch Manager for guidance and approvals
  • Zonal Sales Development Manager (ZSDM) for systems, formats, SRS, and Seller Representative Systems
  • Regional Marketing team for Brand and Product Guidelines and best practices

External Relationships:

  • Maintain healthy relationships with Trade Partners
