We are seeking a Senior Team Lead to join our organization in an end-to-end accounting role based at our office in JP Nagar.

Job Description

The position involves ensuring the accurate and systematic recording of accounting entries in accordance with accounting standards. This includes maintaining and reviewing records of invoices, expense bills, receipts from payment gateways, FIRC, etc. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ledger scrutiny and finalizing books of accounts, as well as maintaining trackers such as Fixed Asset Register (FAR), prepaid expenses, and provisions.

Accounting Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Maintaining and reviewing financial records
  • Conducting ledger scrutiny and finalizing books of accounts
  • Maintaining asset registers and tracking prepaid expenses and provisions
  • Performing reconciliations for Form 26AS, payment gateway transactions, GST inputs VS books, TDS payments VS books, and pending accounts receivable and payable
Statutory Compliance Knowledge
  • Computing and filing tax deducted at source (TDS) and e-TDS returns
  • Filing GST returns (GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B)
  • Managing Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) compliance
  • Calculating and paying advance taxes
  • Filing income tax returns and managing compliance with other labour laws
Payroll Knowledge
  • Collecting income tax declarations and computing TDS as per Section 192
  • Processing payroll using software, in compliance with statutory acts
  • Collecting investment proofs and generating Form 16
