Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain the bell desk and surrounding areas to ensure a clean and efficient environment.
  • Ensure smooth and fast baggage handling for all arrival and departure guests.
  • Maintain close relationships with the reception, information, and cashier departments to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Attend to all guest calls for bell stand and door services related services.
  • Delegate bell boys to pick up baggage from guest rooms and ensure timely delivery.
  • Follow up with guests to verify complete satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Check the inventory of items on loan and collect all items before check-out.
  • Update luggage movement registers and sign off daily.
  • Distribute guest and departmental mail and couriers accurately.
  • Ensure all bills are paid and room keys are returned before guests depart.
  • Coordinate hotel shuttle bus services and airport transfers.
  • Order newspapers for the next day and monitor delivery to each occupied guest room.
  • Observe safety and security rules at all times.
  • Alert management of any unattended packages or strangers found on the premises.
  • Check the daily arrival list for VVIPs or guests with special needs.
  • Prepare for group movements and ensure sufficient staffing.
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, making them feel welcome and anticipating their needs.
  • Recognize returning and VIP guests and welcome them back.
  • Assist the guest service team in escorting guests to and from their accommodations.
  • Inform guests about hotel features, facilities, and emergency procedures.
  • Assist guests with luggage and acknowledge them by name.
  • Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed.
  • Store and retrieve luggage and other objects for guests.
  • Be aware of daily hotel activities, group, and VIP arrivals.
  • Communicate special guest requests to the assistant front office manager or manager on duty.
  • Ensure the lobby, bell closet, and work areas are clean and presentable.
  • Assist the security team in scanning guest luggage.
  • Offer assistance to guests at all times.
  • Provide an efficient luggage storage, delivery, and collection service.
  • Perform any other work assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of hotel fire and security procedures.
