Full Stack E-commerce Developer

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our e-commerce practice. This role requires expertise across both front-end and back-end technologies, with experience in Shopify+ front-end development.

This position is ideal for a developer who can take ownership of projects end-to-end, with a good understanding of e-commerce architecture and a hands-on approach to both UI/UX and server-side logic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional, scalable solutions
  • Design and build full-stack applications with an emphasis on performance, responsiveness, and maintainability
  • Work on Shopify+ front-end development including custom theme development, and leveraging Shopify Plus features like Scripts and Flows
  • Collaborate with architects to define technical solutions and integration points
  • Write clean, reusable, and testable code for both front-end and back-end components
  • Optimize applications for speed and performance across browsers and devices
  • Conduct code reviews and unit testing to maintain code quality
  • Maintain technical documentation for future reference and updates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical development roles
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Shopify+ front-end development, including familiarity with Shopify Scripts and Flows
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express, .NET, or Java
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations
  • Experience with Git and tools like SourceTree or Bitbucket
  • Familiar with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Bonus: Experience working in e-commerce environments and deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
