Job Description:

As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining seamless and visually appealing online stores. Your role will involve working closely with our design and development teams to create innovative e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Shopify e-commerce websites to meet client needs.
  • Extend theme functionality for custom cart, filters, or similar requirements.
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to understand key problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte.
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript.
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Qualification:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Shopify development is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
  • Portfolio of past projects demonstrating required skills and experience.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify's app ecosystem.
  • Experience with API testing and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping apps).
  • Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and how customizations are handled in Shopify stores.
