Job Title: Operational Excellence Specialist

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational effectiveness and profitability.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. As an OE Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business results through the implementation of cost improvement projects, developing policies, and establishing performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities: \

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement training programs to build skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct value stream mapping exercises to define processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the execution of improvement projects by promoting the use of proven tools and approaches.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline, or equivalent experience;
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in project/program management, operational excellence / continuous improvement, or consulting;
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification;
  • Strong technical skills, impact and influence skills, and experience in change management;
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma to drive business results.

Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree in a relevant field, MS/MBA, and/or additional certifications (e.g., Project Management) are preferred. Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology field is highly desired.
