The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation, and performance testing. They will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Experience creating automation test suites using Selenium, TestNG, etc.
  • Ability to execute load tests on applications using JMeter or similar tools.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for ensuring that functional and technical requirements are clear, feasible, and testable. You will create detailed test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of the portal's functionality. You will perform testing on individual components and their interactions to verify correctness, identify defects, document them, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  1. Review and analyze system specifications.
  2. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  3. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  4. Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
  5. Report bugs and errors to development teams.
  6. Help troubleshoot issues.
  7. Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
  8. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
