Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Leader to join our team at RoundGlass. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing strategic partnerships in the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to create and execute effective sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and meet sales targets.
  • Develop and implement a customer service strategy that emphasizes prompt and effective issue resolution, leading to high customer retention rates.
  • Oversee the customer service team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery and adherence to established procedures.
  • Define and prioritize the market segments, customer base, and targeted industry verticals; Setting a strategic sales roadmap for target markets and ensuring it is aligned with the organization's strategic direction
  • Create a robust channel network, alliances and partnerships for selling RG products to customers
  • Manage key business development initiatives including new customer acquisition and existing relationships with consumers
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to drive a focused approach on sales enablement strategy
  • Work closely with customers to ensure they are successful using RG products and taking regular feedback on product features and improvements, sharing the feedback with internal stakeholders to inform product improvement and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the sales department's budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with business priorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and enhance the company's competitive advantage.
  • Discuss progress of sales strategy and any roadblocks faced with the leadership team on a regular basis.


Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field with 18+ years of strong sales and business development experience, preferably of a technology product or solution
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service management, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction in SaaS organisations of global scale & repute .
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to perform at their best.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, sales tools, and customer service platforms.
  • Knowledge of the industry's regulations, market trends, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
