We seek a seasoned Data Governance Specialist to drive business outcomes through strategic data stewardship.

This critical role will support the development of an integrated data governance strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and driving process improvements.

  • Develop frameworks for capturing complex data design and business process metadata.
  • Build a backlog of data improvements and quick wins for governance councils.
Data Governance & Stewardship
  • Map critical data elements against key business processes.
  • Collaborate on logical data models supporting enterprise-wide capabilities.
  • Embed data governance and stewardship into business processes.
  • Ensure metadata is captured, curated, and maintained (F.A.I.R.).
Enabling Business Analytics
  • Analyze, document, and prepare fit-for-purpose data for business innovation.
  • Work with data architects, engineers, and analysts to improve data quality.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to develop and publish key performance indicators.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Orchestrate support for data issues across departments.
  • Manage relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Adapt data governance processes to evolving needs.
  • Support change management and training efforts.

Leadership and people management skills are essential for this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MBA/Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years in large-scale data management and business transformation.
  • Expertise in data domains and business analysis.
  • Experience capturing business processes and data requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage technical and non-technical teams.
