Job Title

A Scrum Master leads and manages agile software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery of software products that meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sprint Ceremonies: Ensure agile methodologies are followed by building and anchoring Scrum Teams across various projects.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment, leading and motivating agile development teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues impacting project timelines or quality.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular status updates, reports, and presentations.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define and implement quality standards and processes ensuring software products meet quality expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the development teams implementing agile best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 10 years of overall experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master in the IT industry with at least 5 years of experience in this role.
  • Certifications: Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) Mandatory Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
