Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

A seasoned data engineer is sought to lead a team of big data engineers in designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Design: Design and develop large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark and Azure Databricks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source and integrate diverse data sources.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and implement standardized data models and single views of customers.
  • Client Partnership: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in big data engineering.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Azure Databricks, and cloud-based technologies.
  • NoSQL Experience: Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Cosmos DB.
  • Data Processing Tools: Knowledge of data modeling, data mapping, and ETL processing tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to debug, fine-tune, and optimize large-scale data processing jobs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
