Job Overview

The Finance Controller plays a pivotal role in overseeing the consolidated companies' accounting operations.


  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining the organization's systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Duty-bound to build scalable accounting processes that support rapid global growth in international locations.
  • Ensures automation around accounting and financial reporting process with Workday (ERP) at its core.

Responsibilities
  • Manages multiple accounting teams across APAC, USA, and other locations, leading cross-functional initiatives and communicating progress effectively with senior management.
  • Provides guidance to help build and scale the legal entity controllership function out of the Global Finance Center (GFC) in Hyderabad, India, and provides general oversight with respect to global standards, policy, strategy, and prioritization.
  • Partners with Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and HR to support expansion efforts to new markets.
  • Owns the statutory audit process for international legal entities.
  • Oversees the finance reporting obligations related to international regulatory licenses.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA (or equivalent).
  • An accountancy qualification with 15+ years of relevant practice and private industry experience, preferred.
  • Typically requires Bachelor's Degree and 12 years related experience or Master's Degree and 10 years related experience or Doctorate and 8 years related experience.
