About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Financial Services team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax returns, particularly in the realm of Financial Services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • A thorough review of complex Financial Services client returns, encompassing Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Fund of Funds.
  • An examination of State returns for Financial Services clients.
  • The identification of international filing requirements through organizational chart analysis and review of international tax returns.
  • Mentorship and supervision of team members on concepts, technology, and providing timely feedback.
  • Facilitating kick-off calls with clients, regular interactions with US counterparts, and resolving conflicts.
  • Guidance on potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes and e-filing validations.
  • Talent recruitment, training, performance evaluation, mentoring, and enabling the team towards achieving organizational objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • The ability to conduct independent tax research in unforeseen scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • A willingness to learn new tax software and adapt to changing requirements.
  • A quick learner, enthusiastic, positive demeanor, and a collaborative team player.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure during peak periods.
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
