Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to drive our Real Estate group in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the real estate industry, with expertise in financial analysis and modeling.

  • Develop models for evaluating real estate projects and create projections for future initiatives.
  • Analyze key performance indicators, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and prepare strategic briefings for senior management.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive business plans for our Real Estate business unit.

Lead budgeting processes and model long-range scenarios (base / upside / downside) and capital expenditure funding needs.

Monthly Performance Management: Publish consolidated reports (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs) by Day 8 of each month.

Drive review meetings; highlight variances >±3%.

Maintain a 12-month rolling forecast and outlook, refreshed each month.

Provide early-warning signals on liquidity and covenant tests.

Collaborate with senior executives on new site feasibility, tuition-fee strategy, lease-vs-buy decisions.

Support finance teams on fund-raising models, investor presentations, debt refinancing.

Streamline data flow from enterprise resource planning systems to business intelligence tools; automate key performance indicator dashboards.

Promote best-practice modelling standards (auditable, version-controlled).

E nsure compliance with international financial reporting standards and internal controls.
