Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and supporting CAD design tools.
  • Managing project setup and configurations for commercial off-the-shelf products from vendors such as Hexagon, AVEVA, Bentley, and Autodesk.
  • Designing and supporting cloud hosting of applications for global users and third-party users.
  • Ensuring proper license management and utilization.
  • Providing technical support for application procurement.
  • Following change management procedures in implementations and operations support.
  • Troubleshooting operational issues in engineering applications and databases.
  • Auditing performance of engineering applications and databases.
  • Supporting internal and external audits for license compliance and access controls.
  • Conducting knowledge base sessions and training for the team.

Problem Solving:

  • Effective cloud hosting and global workshare management with SmartPlant Enterprise Suite.
  • Cloud hosting and management of AVEVA suite of products globally.
  • Engineering license management, control, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least 7 years of experience in system administration for oil and gas EPC companies related to engineering tools.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in implementing and supporting engineering applications from Hexagon, AVEVA, Autodesk, and Bentley portfolios.
  • Certification in relevant software applications and technologies is desirable.
  • Knowledge of programming, cloud, or Citrix technologies is beneficial.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to provide accurate and timely reports.
