Overview: MNR Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior IT Service Management Specialist to join our team.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

Job Description: As a Senior IT Service Management Specialist at MNR Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT service management solutions using the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other team members to understand requirements, develop solutions, and deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and Developing IT Service Management Solutions: Using the ServiceNow platform, you will design and develop custom IT service management solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Customizing ServiceNow Instances: You will customize ServiceNow instances based on client needs by creating and configuring business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations.
  • Developing and Managing Integrations: You will develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and integration connectors.
  • Implementing ITIL Best Practices: You will support incident and problem management processes by implementing and configuring ITIL best practices within ServiceNow.
  • Maintaining ServiceNow Upgrades and Patches: You will perform ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to ensure system stability and availability.
  • Providing Technical Support: You will provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to ServiceNow applications and configurations.
  • Creating and Maintaining Documentation: You will create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Conducting Testing and Quality Assurance: You will conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of ServiceNow solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive Experience with ServiceNow Platform: You must have extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including development, configuration, and administration.
  • Proficiency in Scripting Languages: You should be proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide Script, and others used within ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Key ServiceNow Modules: You should have knowledge of key ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management.
  • Experience with Integration Technologies: You should have experience with integration technologies like REST, SOAP, and middleware platforms.
  • Understanding of ITIL Processes: You should have an understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, with experience implementing them in ServiceNow.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
