Job Summary

This is a high-level accounting and finance leadership role that involves managing all aspects of accounting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the month-close process.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Run a world-class month-close process.
  • Maintain information availability for stakeholders to support decision-making around growth, capital & cash efficiency.
  • Ensure the scalability of finance organization & processes to support the growth of the organization.
  • Focus on collections.
  • Manage various business unit functions and suggest head operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Financial accounting & reporting.
  • Oversight of day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close in compliance with applicable GAAP and regulations.
  • Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory & Tax Compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with withholding tax, GST, exchange control, and state laws in India, US, and other countries of operations.
  • Internal control design.
  • Designing and operating a robust internal controls system.
  • Financial management.
  • Managing cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts according to policy.
  • Year-end close.
  • Responsible for closing yearly financials, preparation of financial statements, and managing audit with a Big 4 auditor.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Managing regular interactions with multiple stakeholders internally and externally, including working with senior management.
  • Communicating with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, professional advisors, tax & regulatory authorities.
  • Technology Management.
  • Providing inputs and managing development of in-house ERP.
