Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • To drive efficiency and ensure compliance, this position leads the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with experience in managing financial statements, MIS, and quarterly/annual results.
  • This senior finance role is responsible for leading the budgeting and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, as well as conducting trend analysis and investigating significant variances.
  • The incumbent will oversee the closure of financial statements, preparation of deliverables for reporting and meetings, and liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Responsibilities also include ongoing accounting and reconciliation activities, such as approving bank reconciliations and ensuring journal entry (JE) reconciliations, as well as implementing and adhering to Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) compliance.
  • This leader will identify opportunities for building efficiency in business processes, accounting, and reporting functions.
  • They will facilitate financial review meetings with business groups, work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management, and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
  • This role requires driving the automation of reporting and demonstrating familiarity with Business Intelligence tools.

Familiarity with ICOFR compliance is essential. Experience in financial statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting automation are highly valued. Proficiency in data analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements, and providing actionable insights are critical. Knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and MIS is required.
