Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead our team in building a cutting-edge stablecoin payments initiative.

  • The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in backend engineering, with strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and scaling backend systems for payments and settlements, building robust infrastructure atop fragmented on/off-ramp integrations, and defining architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead backend development for web and mobile applications in the stablecoin stack
  • Design and scale backend systems for payments and settlements
  • Build robust infrastructure atop fragmented on/off-ramp integrations
  • Define architecture, lead technical discussions, and own system robustness
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team across infra + app layers
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness
  • Establish engineering best practices and delivery timelines

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript / Node.js and API design
  • Prior exposure to fintech or payments (strongly preferred)
  • Track record of integrating external APIs across geographies
  • Leadership experience in scaling early-stage, ambiguous systems
  • Startup DNA: takes ownership, ships fast, thrives amid ambiguity
