Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Backend System Architect to design and develop scalable server-side systems for large-scale enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain robust backend services using Python or Node.js frameworks.
  • Create and deploy RESTful and GraphQL APIs for complex business systems, ensuring seamless integration with databases and messaging systems.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT, OAuth2 and SSO.
  • Optimize backend performance through caching, query tuning and async processing.
  • Develop modular, reusable and testable code.
  • Deploy applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong programming experience in Python or Node.js.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Familiarity with ORM tools (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, Prisma, TypeORM).
  • Knowledge of API best practices (versioning, throttling, documentation).
  • Understanding of enterprise system architecture (microservices, modular monoliths).
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery).
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in backend development for enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to deliver secure and scalable systems.
