Backend Software Engineer Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and Java to join our onsite team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs.

This role involves collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality features.

The ideal candidate should have experience with microservices architecture, ensuring service reliability and scalability.

Additionally, proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient, optimized queries is required.

Experience with external APIs and third-party services integration is also necessary.

The successful candidate will ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3–6 years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+ preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework (Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring MVC).
  • Strong understanding of REST API design principles.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Hibernate/JPA).
  • Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, and agile development processes.
  • Knowledge of Microservices and Containerization and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Understanding of application security best practices (JWT, OAuth2, etc.).
