Overview

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Solutions Developer to design, build, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions providing data-driven and action-oriented insights to the business for efficient and effective decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop compelling and user-centric BI / data visualization solutions (dashboards and reports) to convey actionable insights and enable proactive decision-making by the business.

• Maintain performance of BI solutions, debug or enhance existing BI products, and conduct quality assurance on dashboards for accuracy and functionality.

• Identify opportunities to apply data visualization solutions to solve complex business problems.

• Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to define data needs and requirements.

• Ensure established visualization / BI standards and security protocols are followed.

• Develop training materials and deliver training to end-users, encouraging digital adoption.

• Provide thought leadership and promote data visualization best practices.

• Make recommendations for BI tools based on latest trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong quantitative background in data analysis and Data modeling to drive actionable insights
  • Ability to present analytic results to technical and non-technical audiences through various visualization methods
  • Experience with coding languages (Python) and querying languages (SQL)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level management
  • Comfortable with change, especially that which arises through company initiatives
  • Proactively drive impact and engagement while bringing others along
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new skills
  • Working knowledge of agile development, including DevOps and DataOps concepts
