Accounting Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team.

This is a dynamic role that involves managing the month end close activities, day-to-day transactions and financial reporting. As an accountant, you will be responsible for all the critical tasks such as:

  • Responsible for all month end close activities; ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards;
  • Day-to-day transactions management and ensuring adherence to corporate policies and processes;
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly Profit and Loss (PL) and Balance sheet reconciliation;
  • Providing support in resolving ad-hoc queries raised by internal stakeholders;
  • Review of the Fixed asset register and reconciliation with books on a regular basis;
  • Collaborating with other team members to improve processes;
  • Coordinating with auditors for timely closure of audits.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Management Information Systems (MIS)/Statutory Reporting;
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE IN A TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, particularly with subscription or SaaS business;
  • Proven experience in MNC environment and knowledge of finance and accounting in other markets;
  • Experience in managing the month end close process with a close cycle of 4 business days or less;
  • Knowledge/experience in Accounting Standards: U.S. GAAP or IGAAP;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel features and functionalities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
